NOC: 75101 — Material handler
Location: Brampton, ON
Salary: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40-44 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Pick and pack orders from warehouse shelves per pick lists
• Load outbound shipments onto delivery trucks
• Unload inbound containers and sort products by category
• Operate electric pallet jacks and walkie stackers
• Scan items using RF handheld devices
• Check items for damage during receiving and report to supervisor
• Stage orders in shipping area for carrier pickup
• Organize and maintain designated storage areas
• Comply with company health and safety policies at all times
• Assist with cycle counts and annual physical inventory
• Clean and sweep work area at end of each shift
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; will train

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding: standing, walking, lifting up to 30 kg
• Day shift and afternoon shift options available
• Temperature-controlled warehouse environment
