Location: Mississauga, ON
Salary: $18.50 - $22.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Patrol assigned areas on foot and monitor for security concerns
• Control access to buildings by checking identification and credentials
• Monitor CCTV surveillance cameras and report suspicious activity
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations following protocols
• Enforce property rules and regulations
• Provide assistance and directions to employees and visitors
• Conduct security checks of doors, windows, and gates
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when required
• Complete shift handover reports for incoming guards
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: No experience required; site-specific training provided
• Valid Ontario Security Guard licence (or willing to obtain)
• Clean criminal background check

Work Conditions

• Rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Both indoor and outdoor posts
