Job Duties

• Monitor premises and patrol designated areas regularly
• Control building access and maintain visitor sign-in logs
• Observe and report security incidents, safety hazards, and property damage
• Operate security monitoring equipment including cameras and alarms
• Respond to fire alarms and assist with building evacuations
• Prepare incident reports with accurate details and timelines
• Provide customer service and wayfinding assistance to visitors
• Enforce parking regulations on property
• Secure and lock all access points at end of business day
• Coordinate with emergency services as needed

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: No experience required; training provided on site
• Valid Alberta Security Services licence (or willing to obtain)
• Clear criminal record check

Work Conditions

• 12-hour rotating shifts (day and night)
• Outdoor patrols in all weather conditions
