Location: Iqaluit, NU
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (37.5 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Assist customers with product selection and purchases
• Operate cash register and process all payment types
• Unpack and stock inventory from sealift and air cargo shipments
• Arrange merchandise displays and maintain store presentation
• Conduct price checks and update shelf labels
• Handle customer inquiries and special orders
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
• Maintain a clean store environment
• Support seasonal promotions and community events

Requirements

• Languages: English (Inuktitut is an asset)
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: No experience required; training provided

Work Conditions

• Retail store environment in Canada's Arctic
• Standing and walking throughout shift
• Some heavy lifting when unloading shipments
