Job Description
Overview:
Multiflora Rose Café & Restaurant Corp. is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager. You will assist in overseeing the restaurant's daily operations, supervising and scheduling staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service, maintaining efficient operations, and contributing to a positive dining experience and the continued growth of the restaurant.
Duties:
• Assist in organizing, coordinating, and supervising the restaurant’s daily operations during assigned shifts.
• Assign duties, schedule staff, and provide direction to employees to ensure work is carried out according to operational plans.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with recruiting, training, supervising, and evaluating the performance of employees at each service station.
• Monitor compliance with the restaurant’s policies, operating procedures, and service standards.
• Inspect cleanliness, facilities, machinery, equipment, and utensils, and oversee their proper use and maintenance.
• Maintain and ensure high standards of customer service, food safety, and sanitation.
• Inspect the quality of food and beverages and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure efficient service operations.
• Supervise customer service procedures to ensure service quality and a positive dining experience.
• Provide direct assistance to customers and handle inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
• Proactively resolve operational issues that arise during daily restaurant operations.
• Assist in monitoring daily sales revenue.
• Assist in developing seasonal marketing and promotional programs.
• Prepare shift reports and recommend improvements to enhance service quality and operational efficiency.

Requirements
• Have a diploma or degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management, Business Management, Tourism, or a related field is required.
• Have a minimum of two years of experience in a similar position or as a supervisor in a restaurant environment is required.
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling staff, inventory control, purchasing, and cost management.
• Knowledge of standard service procedures, food safety and sanitation practices, inventory management, restaurant operating procedures, cost control methods, and the food and beverage industry.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise, train, and lead staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in restaurant management software, including POS systems.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time management skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Vietnamese is an asset.
