Job Description

Purchase construction materials, interior finishing products, furnishings, equipment, and related business services for residential and commercial development projects. • Assess purchasing requirements and prepare procurement plans, purchasing specifications, and budget estimates according to project needs. • Conduct supplier research, quotation comparisons, market analysis, and cost evaluations for domestic and overseas procurement activities. • Source and maintain relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers, including overseas suppliers. • Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms, delivery schedules, and supply agreements with vendors and suppliers. • Coordinate procurement processes including purchase orders, shipment arrangements, delivery schedules, and inventory tracking. • Review supplier quotations, contracts, invoices, and purchasing documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delays, product quality, shipment schedules, or contract execution. • Work closely with project management and construction teams to ensure timely procurement support for development projects. • Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing reports. • Support cost control initiatives and identify opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and reduce purchasing costs.

Requirements

• Completion of a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, supply chain management, marketing, communications, or a related field. • Several years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supplier management, sourcing coordination, contract negotiation, or related business services. • Experience coordinating with overseas suppliers and managing supplier relationships is an asset. • Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills. • Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Experience with construction materials, interior furnishing products, or project-based procurement is an asset. • Knowledge of procurement documentation, quotation analysis, and contract coordination. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an asset due to coordination with overseas suppliers and manufacturers.

Experience
