Location: Oakville, ON
Salary: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Care for two children (ages 3 and 6) in the family home
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children
• Plan and supervise age-appropriate activities and crafts
• Assist with homework and reading practice
• Transport children to and from school and extracurricular activities
• Bathe children and manage bedtime routines
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in play areas and bedrooms
• Do children's laundry and organize their clothing
• Take children to parks, playgrounds, and community programs
• Administer basic first aid if needed
• Communicate daily with parents about activities and concerns

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years caring for children
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector criminal record check
• Valid Ontario G driver's licence

Work Conditions

• Private home setting in Oakville
• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
