Material Handler

Position: Material Handler
NOC: 75101 — Material handler
Location: Moncton, NB
Salary: $18.25 - $20.75 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers by hand and with equipment
• Pick orders from shelves using pick lists and handheld scanners
• Pack, weigh, label, and palletize outgoing shipments
• Move materials through the warehouse using pallet jacks and carts
• Check incoming shipments against packing slips and report damage
• Sort and place products in correct bin locations
• Wrap pallets and stage them at shipping doors
• Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
• Keep aisles, docks, and work areas clean and hazard-free
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures, including safe lifting technique

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Physically demanding; repetitive lifting up to 25 kg
• Standing and walking for full shifts
• Warehouse environment with variable temperatures
