Salary: $18.00 - $21.50 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Prepare and cook menu items to order on assigned cooking station
• Follow standardized recipes and plating guides consistently
• Prep ingredients for daily service including sauces, marinades, and garnishes
• Ensure food is cooked to safe internal temperatures per Alberta Health regulations
• Label, date, and store all food items according to FIFO method
• Maintain clean and organized work station throughout shift
• Communicate with front-of-house staff on order timing and dietary modifications
• Assist with receiving deliveries and verifying order accuracy
• Report equipment malfunctions to the kitchen manager
• Participate in weekly deep-cleaning and kitchen maintenance tasks
• Support catering prep for large event orders as needed

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Conditions

• Hot, fast-paced commercial kitchen environment
• Standing for full 8-hour shifts
• Must be available for evening and weekend shifts
