Job Duties

• Prepare breakfast and lunch items including eggs, sandwiches, soups, and salads
• Cook items on grill, flat-top, and deep fryer to order
• Set up and stock cooking station before each shift
• Follow house recipes for consistency in taste and presentation
• Ensure all food is prepared and stored per Ontario food safety regulations
• Wash and chop vegetables, prepare sauces and dressings daily
• Monitor and maintain food temperatures during holding and service
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, counters, and floors
• Assist with weekly inventory counts and placing supply orders
• Communicate with serving staff regarding wait times and specials

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Conditions

• Small, busy kitchen; ability to work in tight spaces
• Shifts include early mornings (5:30 AM starts) and weekends
