Location: Fredericton, NB
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40-44 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns using commercial mowers and trimmers
• Plant flowers, shrubs, trees, and sod per landscape designs
• Spread mulch, topsoil, and gravel in garden beds
• Operate leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws
• Install interlocking pavers for walkways and patios
• Build and repair garden retaining walls
• Perform spring and fall cleanups on residential and commercial properties
• Apply fertilizer and weed control treatments as directed
• Load and unload tools and materials from work trucks
• Maintain and clean landscaping equipment after each use
• Snow removal and salting during winter months

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; training provided
• Valid driver's licence preferred but not required

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather including heat, rain, and cold
• Heavy physical labour including lifting up to 30 kg
• Seasonal overtime during summer months
