Salary: $17.40 - $18.50 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Part-time (20-30 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruits for meal preparation
• Operate commercial dishwashers and hand-wash pots and pans
• Clean and sanitize kitchen counters, floors, and equipment
• Unload and store deliveries in walk-in cooler and dry storage
• Remove garbage and recycling from kitchen area
• Assemble and portion simple food items under cook's direction
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors at end of each shift
• Restock plates, cutlery, and service supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station throughout service
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; will train on the job

Work Conditions

• Standing for extended periods in a warm, humid environment
• Repetitive tasks including lifting trays up to 20 kg
• Evening and weekend availability required
