NOC: 65310 — Light duty cleaner
Location: Vancouver, BC
Salary: $18.00 - $20.50 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (35-40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms including beds, bathrooms, and surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and mop hard floors in rooms and hallways
• Replace linens, towels, and amenities to hotel standards
• Dust furniture, fixtures, window sills, and light switches
• Clean mirrors, glass surfaces, and bathroom fixtures
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liners
• Report any maintenance issues or damaged items to supervisor
• Restock housekeeping cart with supplies before each shift
• Operate commercial vacuum cleaners and floor-care equipment
• Clean common areas including lobbies and elevators
• Follow WHMIS protocols for handling cleaning chemicals
• Complete assigned number of rooms per shift

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; full training provided

Work Conditions

• Physically active: bending, lifting, pushing throughout shift
• Day shifts with occasional weekend work
