NOC: 65310 — Light duty cleaner
Location: Halifax, NS
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (35-40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Clean and prepare guest rooms following hotel quality standards
• Make beds with fresh linens and arrange pillows neatly
• Scrub and sanitize bathroom fixtures, tubs, and tile
• Restock guest amenities including soap, shampoo, and coffee supplies
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop all room surfaces
• Dust all surfaces, lamps, artwork, and electronics
• Inspect rooms for damage and report to housekeeping supervisor
• Collect and bag soiled linens for laundry
• Respond to guest requests for extra towels, blankets, or supplies
• Clean hallways, stairwells, and common areas as assigned
• Organize and maintain housekeeping storage closet

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; training provided

Work Conditions

• Physically active role: bending, lifting, and pushing carts
• Day shifts including weekends and statutory holidays
