Location: Thunder Bay, ON
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Part-time (20-30 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Provide personal care assistance to elderly clients in their homes
• Assist with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, and grooming
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping duties including laundry and dishes
• Help clients with medication reminders and appointment scheduling
• Provide safe mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Engage clients in social activities and conversation
• Accompany clients on walks and outings
• Document daily care activities and report concerns to supervisor
• Maintain client dignity and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma (1 to 2 years) — PSW certificate or equivalent
• Experience: No experience required; orientation and mentorship provided
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification
• Clear Vulnerable Sector criminal record check

Work Conditions

• Travel to client homes in Thunder Bay area
• Flexible scheduling with day and evening shifts
