Position: General Labourer
NOC: 75110 — Construction helper
Location: Moncton, NB
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40-44 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Assist skilled tradespeople on residential and commercial job sites
• Load, unload, and carry construction materials (lumber, drywall, concrete)
• Dig trenches and backfill excavations using hand tools
• Set up and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures
• Clean and prepare job sites before and after work
• Operate hand and power tools (saws, drills, grinders) under supervision
• Mix concrete and assist with pouring and finishing
• Perform demolition tasks including removal of debris
• Direct traffic around work zones when required
• Follow all workplace health and safety regulations and PPE requirements
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required; will train on site

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Heavy physical work: lifting up to 30 kg, prolonged standing
• Work at heights on scaffolding and ladders
