General Labourer

Position: General Labourer
NOC: 75110 — Construction helper
Location: Hamilton, ON
Salary: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40-50 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Load and unload construction materials at job sites
• Move tools, equipment, and supplies to work areas
• Assist tradespeople such as carpenters and concrete finishers
• Mix, pour, and spread materials including concrete and gravel
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, and temporary structures
• Dig trenches and backfill excavations using hand tools
• Clean up debris, scrap, and rubble from work areas
• Direct traffic and set up safety barriers around the site
• Operate small equipment such as compactors and jackhammers
• Follow all site safety rules and wear required PPE

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Outdoor work in all weather conditions
• Physically demanding; lifting up to 25 kg regularly
• Early morning starts; overtime during peak season
