Salary: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (25-40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Take customer orders at the counter and process payments
• Prepare and portion simple food items such as sandwiches, salads, and beverages
• Heat and finish pre-prepared menu items
• Package take-out orders and hand them to customers
• Keep the counter, dining area, and beverage station clean and stocked
• Restock napkins, condiments, cups, and packaging
• Rotate displayed food and check freshness dates
• Answer customer questions about the menu
• Clean tables, trays, and equipment during slow periods
• Follow food handling and cash handling procedures

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required — will train

Work Conditions

• Standing for extended periods
• Fast-paced environment during meal rushes
• Interaction with the public throughout the shift
