Position: Delivery Driver

Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (35-44 hours/week)
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Duties

• Deliver packages and goods to homes and businesses along assigned routes
• Load the delivery vehicle and organize parcels for efficient drop-off
• Plan routes using GPS and delivery software
• Obtain signatures or photo confirmation for completed deliveries
• Collect payments or paperwork when required
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
• Keep the vehicle clean and fuelled
• Communicate with dispatch about delays or failed deliveries
• Handle packages carefully to prevent damage
• Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Work Conditions

• Valid driver's licence with clean abstract required
• Repeated entry and exit of the vehicle; lifting up to 25 kg
• Driving in all weather conditions
