Salary: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Terms: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours/week)

Job Duties

• Supervise a team of 8-12 cleaners across multiple commercial sites
• Conduct quality inspections and ensure cleaning standards are met
• Train new cleaning staff on procedures, equipment, and safety
• Create and manage weekly staff schedules and shift assignments
• Order and track cleaning supplies and equipment inventory
• Communicate with building managers to address service concerns
• Perform cleaning duties alongside staff when needed
• Complete daily site inspection reports
• Enforce WHMIS and workplace safety protocols
• Handle staff time-off requests and coverage arrangements
• Document and report any incidents or accidents
• Attend weekly meetings with management

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in commercial cleaning
• Valid Ontario G driver's licence and reliable vehicle

Work Conditions

• Travel between multiple cleaning sites in York Region
• Evening shifts (4:00 PM - 12:00 AM typical)
• Some physical cleaning work required
