Job Duties

• Greet customers and scan items at checkout
• Process cash, debit, credit, and gift card transactions accurately
• Bag groceries and assist customers with carry-out
• Answer customer inquiries regarding store products and promotions
• Verify prices and process coupons and loyalty card discounts
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Count cash drawer at the start and end of each shift
• Stock shelves and front-end displays during slow periods
• Report pricing discrepancies or damaged products to supervisor
• Follow store loss-prevention and safety procedures

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: No experience required; training provided

Work Conditions

• Standing for the duration of each shift
• Shifts include evenings and weekends
