Job Duties

• Operate cash register and point-of-sale terminal
• Process cash, debit, and credit card payments
• Greet customers and provide friendly service
• Scan items and ensure correct pricing
• Bag merchandise and assist with carry-out when requested
• Handle returns and exchanges following store policy
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout counter and surrounding area
• Restock impulse items and shopping bags at register
• Balance cash drawer and prepare end-of-shift reports
• Assist with stocking shelves during off-peak hours

Requirements

• Languages: English
• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: No experience required

Work Conditions

• Standing position for the entire shift
• Weekend and holiday availability required
