Job Description

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily restaurant and bar operations. • Monitor revenues, control costs and inventory, and assist in budget planning and implementation. • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate staff to ensure efficient service delivery. • Establish and enforce operational procedures, health and safety standards, and liquor regulations. • Address customer concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. • Negotiate with suppliers, coordinate special events, and oversee cash handling and administrative reporting.

Requirements

• Secondary school diploma required. • At least two years of experience in the food and beverage industry are required. • Previous experience as a bartender is required. • Previous supervisory or management experience in a bar, restaurant or hospitality establishment is required. • Knowledge of provincial liquor regulations, health and safety requirements, customer service practices, and inventory management. • Strong organizational, leadership, and customer service skills. • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
